KILROY’S TOWING SERVICE is the Best Towing Company in Nevada County! I will always use Kilroy’s from now on even though I have AAA Premier Roadside Service!… but when I called AAA for help they said they couldn’t help with extraction service because I mentioned the words mud and driveway. I was driving on a roadway up to my gate and driveway and when I backed up to straighten the car to go thru the gate I got off the roadway into leaves and pine needles and in trying to make it right it got worse!! So I called Triple AAA which was useless. Finally the dispatcher said and I Quote…”IF we come to your place it will be more than 180 minutes and at that time the driver will tell you if he thinks he can do it, what number can we call you on to let you know?”I made a few phone calls and I was referred to Kilroy’s Towing Service! Also 2 other towing companies recommended Kilroy’s because of the type of trucks they have and the experience required! And I am SOOOOOO pleased! They arrived in less than an hour the drivers name was Donny and Boy! was he excellent! He was courteous, professional, clean, and VERY knowledgeable! He had my car back on the road in less time than it took him to drive to my location🤓 PLUS he wouldn’t accept a tip either! I will ALWAYS use Kilroy’s from now on, Also AAA will reimburse me when I use a tow company other than the one they have chosen to have an exclusive agreement with!Even if they didn’t/don’t reimburse Kilroy’s is worth the price- You can be assured of successful, professional & friendly service!😃🎶🎉

Huge shout-out to Kirk! I missed my first appointment to have my car towed from my house. He came back a few hours later and didn't hold it against me for making him wait the 1st time. He was very friendly and nice! Then he got my car to start, which I hadn't been able to for like 2 weeks! Then he and I had a misunderstanding, where he started to load my car to tow, after I had said that I no longer wanted it towed, since he got it to start. I apologized and we had a good laugh and he took it off the truck, with a smile. Not once did he seem annoyed, which to be honest, I would've have been annoyed if I were him lol I truly appreciate his attitude and help, after not even needing the service after all that! Thank you!

Kent Kilroy saved us today! We were stuck in a horrible snow situation that kept getting worse before he got us on the road again and made sure that we got home safely - I recommend this business fully for any and all of the services that they offer - having experienced a little of each of these areas over the time I have owned my vehicle I can say with confidence that I would not hesitate to work with them again and again. The driver Kirk drove all the way from Grass Valley to Applegate to tow my vehicle from the side of the freeway. He was most concerned with my and my girlfriends safety so he had us head home before he started working. He was very fast getting the car towed to my house and placed the car perfectly in between 2 other vehicles which was not an easy maneuver but he made it look easy. He even asked if I wanted him to hookup the battery so we could find out if that was the issue which I declined only because I felt he had already done so much in such an excellent fashion. He couldn't have been more courteous and professional I cant say enough good things about Kirk and his employer.

This place is a Godsend! I live in Utah and my 19 year old daughter and friend took a road trip in route to visit a college. During the drive they became stranded on the side of the road. Kent's employee picked them up and took them to the place our insurance suggested. The place was very sketchy (especially for two 19 year olds), so the driver decided not to leave them in a place where he didn't feel comfortable about leaving them, so he drove them further than her insurance covers with no extra charge and after another failed attempt to get them to the right spot, he took them back to their auto shop. Once there, they realized the car would need to go to Ford. Kent's company then towed my daughter's car to Ford and talked with them about the situation. Once he realized that Ford would not be able to get to it until the next day, Kent's company drove them to a hotel that he felt would be a safe place for them and talked to hotel management about a discounted price where they obliged. After my daughter and her friend spent 2 nights there, Kent continued to check on them and came and picked up my daughter and took her back to her car. All of this was done with no charge.This man and his company went over and beyond what we would expect from a decent tow trucking company. His kindness will never be forgotten, and I wish the world had more of him in it.
